Well done Oggies!

What on earth do Drag2zero feed their athletes? Steve C

Not a lot because keiron said he weighs 11 stone :o

Good conditions out there today and very good times well done everyone :D Dave W

Many thanks to everyone who pulled together in the usual team based and professional way to make today a success. Particular thanks to Terry who dealt with everything that got thrown at him with good humour! Steven M

Echo Steven's message.      Riders seemed happy.      Well done to Terry for a successful event Teresa D

What a brilliant run event this was -- faultless. New organiser Terry and his band of helpers should be very proud of their efforts. Oh and the cakes were brill.

Not a fast day today. But a great event.

Big thanks to Ogmore Wheelers for a brilliantly signed, and well organized and run event.

A super event, well organised and excellent tea and cakes. A big thank you to the organiser and team.

Really well organised and a good HQ with food and drink  -  only disappointment was Barnsley losing to Bristol the day before :(

Great event, efforts by Terry and the gang much appreciated indeed! :-)

Thanks again Ogmore, hope to see y'all again one day. :-)

Agree above about the excellent event. All the volunteers were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Well done Terry for getting results out so quickly. Have a lie down today !!

Many thanks to Terry and all at OVW for another superb event -- as you'd expect from the club.

Okay team - all I can say is what an absolute treat it was to work with you all and for us collectively to have put on another fantastic OVW event.

I know "thanks you's" can sound almost automatic and insincere ..... but it would be impossible to overstate the number of thank you's that are due to all those who played their part in making yesterday's TT match our wonderful track record in holding this event. It was a long day for many - and long will we value that.

I should not in all fairness single out any individuals for mention as so many went the extra mile to ensure things went to plan. Having said that, I do need to say that without Teresa''s help on all the 'behind the scenes admin' (cannot believe how much of that there is) then I might possibly have been a total wreck by the event start. Also, Andy's army did a wonderful job on signs and seeing Andy making a start when it was barely light was heart-warming.

I have had several mails from riders who expressed how much they enjoyed the event and in particular the friedliness and helpfulness of all the marshals/pushers etc.

It might have been my name on the form ... but it is clearly an OVW success ... which means it is your success.

One last time with gusto ...THANK YOU

What a great turn-out for the opening Club Event of

the season!   The weather tested everyone's resolve

being cold, windy and in places wet.  Thanks to all

competitors for their efforts, and to Teresa for her most

valued help.

See you all next week at the same time

( 18.30hrs. Start).Norman J

Thanks to Norman and Teresa. Great ride from Steve

in poor conditions! Steven M

A little bit nippy and a little bit wet, but a great turnout for the first event.    A couple of newbies who have now put down a time to beat.

Excellent ride by Dave W.  First ride this time last year was a 26:24 Teresa D

Thanks Steve, but Dave's '23' on a 'tractor' is a sign that he's super-strong and IMHO is well-suited to track racing - the kilo? Points race? Be good to see you at our track taster Dave and, if flying-500 is on the menu… Steve C

Not entirely sure why no one else has entered?  Not a BHol weekend and the course is good, approx. a minute slower than the Neath Valley IMO.. Steven M

Last week the attendance was good, but this week

was even better.  On a sunny, windy, but warmer

Night 21 entrants was a marvellous turnout. Rarely

do the evening series of 10's start with such fast

times.

Congratulations to Richard and Joe with their "22's".

Many other riders improved on last week's effort,

And welcome to the new "first timers" -  great

performances all round.

Again, my thanks to Teresa and Andy for their help

in this promotion.

From next week all the events will start at 7.00p.m., with signing-on before 6.45 p.m.   See you all then, "cheers", Norman.

Cloudy, showery but warm, and dry for the event.  Conditions were fast as is borne out by

the times.

Number of competitors was down on previous weeks, but seasons best rides have been

Achieved - well done all!

Thanks again to Teresa and Andy for their help, and welcome back to stalwarts Mary And Allan

Marks.

Cheers, see you all next week,  Norman.

Thanks all for your efforts as always 👍 Nick L

Mr Kibble has a very good history, he also looked very good on his way back from the turn

last night, good low position and going like a train. Ron B

NO 4- MID WEEK - 18.05.17

Once again my thanks to Teresa, Mary, Allan and

Andy for their help in running this event.

Another dry night, though cool and very windy.

Attendance was again good, with some stirring

performances.  Congratulations to Peter on another

fine ride in trying conditions.  There were seasons best

Rides for Anthony Williams, Tony Mansell, Nick Langley

 and Paul Belcher.

Peter Kibble is now returning to Italy to rejoin his

team.  We wish him well and look forward to reading

of his future exploits.

Many thanks all, see you next week, Norman.

Great to have so many riders attending the mid weeks early in the season - long may it continue (well until September, anyway)

Well done all - some really good times Teresa

Another great turn-out for a Club "10".   Hot waether

helped, but the strong easterly wind didn't.   Many good

performances, especially from Peter Kibble (Italy's loss

was our gain!).  Notable improvements came from the

tandem pairing of Dave Walters and Keith Barrett.-

Well done!

The hard luck award goes to Richard Bowmer whose

starting effort was good enough to snap his chain. Our

sincere thanks to Mr. Kibble who took Richard back

home.

Next week is the 2-up Team Time Trial. where one rider

must be a veteran i.e.over 40 years of age.  Other riders may ride for individual times, but they will not count towards the Mid-Week trophy or the Points Cup.

Next week will be cooler, so look forward to a host of good rides!

Cheers, Norman.

Yes big thanks to Phil Kibble for fixing me up with a replacement chain so that I could ride back home. Very much appreciated. Not the 10 I'd planned for!! Richard B

Brilliant turn-out,Great Event!   This was the best "Hoppy"

 2-up for many years.

Mark and Steve were worthy winners, but were hard

pressed by Karl and Mike.

Hard luck to Richard and James with that unshipped

chain just after the start.

In the Private Trials section it was a great contest

between Joe and Christopher.

It was also good to see graham back in the competition.

The tandem pairing of Dave and Keith goes from strength to strength with a course P.B. of 23 - 19  Da Iawn!

Thanks to Mary,Allan and Andy for all their help yet again.

Next week Mary,Allan,Andy and myself are all unavailable,so please all give as much help as you can to the new organiser. Best of luck everyone!

Cheers, Norman.
